“Official” Power Rankings Week 2 – DVRFFL
The start of a brand new season and all things are possible. Will this be Finkle’s year? Will grubbi repeat? Will Chad’s new named team get him back to the DVR playoffs? Let last year be a distant memory and the fun begin.
11 games left in the season. Remember: Don’t shoot the messenger.
1) Long Beach Islanders 2-0
Long Beach is showing the son how it’s done. QB Brady leads this team, but for how long? Good start; let’s see if LB can finish as well.
2) Finkle and Einhorn’s Laces Out 2-0
Wow! Who would have thought that Finkle would be here (not even Finkle, eh)? QB in the first round? Yup. And he is doing well, very well.
3) Christian Ponder Coalition 1-1
Let’s put the new kid in DVR up here before he gets knocked down. Two weeks in and injuries already look to be plaguing the new kid.
4) I’ve Made a Huge Mistake 1-1
New name, new year, looking good. Huge Mistake made no mistake in taking his revenge out on grubbi after losing the DVRFFL Championship to grubbi on a tie breaker.
5) Waco Streaking Mandalors 1-1
Waco’s roster is looking more and more like a M.A.S.H. unit. He’ll need to become a mad scientist to take these broken bodies and create a monster of a team by next week.
6) Humuhumunukunukuapua’as 1-1
Scoring 83 points is not bad. However, this past week it only counted for a loss. The scoring is going high so this fish may need to go above the surface if she wants to stay in the race.
7) grubbi grubbers 0-2
The Lions are winning and grubbi is losing. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. They all laughed when grubbi waited on drafting a QB...and it’s paying off. The wins will come, they will come.
8a) Stradlebuck Lugineers 1-1
Stradlebuck only gets the edge because he won this week. He and Apocalypse are like Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum. Take your pick.
8b) Apocalypse Now 1-1
What can be said. See above.
10) Trogdor’s Burninators 0-2
“...so Trogdor, that mighty man-dragon, sadly slipped into his cave.” It’s time to drop the dead weight (Manning) and get someone who can play.
