I wish I could watch this series for the first time again. That's what I say to be people about The Wire.

OK, I just finished season three. How do I immediately get to season four?

Guess I'm moving on to Mad Men. To be honest, I've avoided this show because the previews just looked...I don't know, just didn't look interesting.
But I'll give it a shot.

How did you like the end of season 3?

The last two episodes were some of the best television ever.
The correct show to compare it to is The Shield. Two characters who cannot stop their downward spiral, whose actions to get them out of a predicament just dig a deeper hole. The tension on the show is the same as The Shield. When Hank got the phone call in his truck, it was as breath stopping as anything involving Vic Mackey.
The last shot of season 3, of Jesse holding the gun, was as good of acting as I've seen.

On a different note, I watched the first two episodes of Man Men, and...eh. I'll keep it in my queue for a rainy day, but it just didn't hold my interest.
I put a show called Luther in the queue, it stars Stringer Bell as a detective. I think it's set in London. I've heard good things.

Mad Men takes time to develop--it doesn't hook you right away. Obviously completely different than Breaking Bad (in a sense, it's a bit more like Sopranos or even the Wire, in that regard).
