Baylor's defense is absolutely terrible, but somehow they have managed 29 takeaways in the last eight games.
That is incredible. Over that same time they've probably given up 400+ yards/game.

Neither Baylor nor WVU have a defense. Whatever the over is, take it.

Neither of those schools would be competitive in the WAC this year. They're bad.
Seriously though, I was hoping Baylor had turned a corner. I didn't expect to stay on the Texas/OU level year after year, but I was hoping they would have ascended. Still hoping. Let Kansas and Tech be the bottom feeders for a while.

Didn't Auburn just play LSU really well?
All I'm sure of with Baylor is that they have a very good offense. We'll see how it all plays out. Unfortunately, they have a tough schedule---West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Texas are all road games. This will be Baylor's weakness I think. They'll play well at home.

Was just looking at Texas' schedule. They luck out a bit this year. Only one away game against a top team -- the final game at Kansas State (which should be a good one). At Oklahoma State is not an easy game, but I'm not sure Ok St is too good.
I think this is a big plus for Texas. They might do better than I thought.

Backhanded compliment noted Texas plays four ranked teams in a row. OSU, WVU, OU and Baylor (assuming Baylor stays ranked). We'll settle this on the field 10/20.

I expect a win! It might be 82-80 but I still expect a win.

I'll take 82-80 any day! I'm certainly hoping for a win. Should be a good one.

Baylor out of the top 25. Doesn't seem right. They dropped 63 on the number eight team in the nation.
Can't wait for TX-WVU next week. Texas has the best RBs in the nation for keeping Geno off the field. Assuming the o line cooperates.

LSU barely beats Louisiana Monroe. They struggle with Towson.
LSU isn't good. Seeing them at 3 is ridiculous.

Someone talk to me about how good of a prospect Geno Smith is.
Just curious.

He did really well against an awful Baylor defense. He's not going to be facing one better with Texas next.
Wait and see if he draws someone with a solid D in the bowl game. Lots of smoke and mirror rights now.

Looking forward to Texas and WVU. Should tell us a lot about both teams.
I feel pretty good about the Baylor game. Defense is terrible, but we already knew that. But if we can keep up with WVU, I think we have a chance against anyone. What a wild game.
If definitely hurt to lose it though. I kind of wish they would have beat us badly.

Also, I'm tired of hearing "the defense can only get better." Obviously that is not true. They are getting worse.
I strongly believed Baylor should have fired the d-coordinator after the Alamo Bowl win last year. It's truly remarkable how bad they are.
