Mack deserved to be fired in 2004. His subsequent national championship changed nothing. Then he deserved to be fired immediately after the 2010 season. THEN he deserved to be fired again in 2010 when Florida contacted Muschamp. Mack should have been gone and Muschamp put as head coach. I don't know if Muschamp beats OU every year, but I KNOW a Muschamp coached team doesn't get repeatedly blown out by OU. Mack is a p*ssy. It's repeatedly reflected in his teams. OU is just another game to this team. But when OU plays Texas, OU wants blood. Because Stoops demands it. If you want to revel in a meltdown, grab a cup of coffee and spend some time on Shaggy. www.shaggybevo.com/board/forumdisplay.php/7

Baylor wins next week. Did you watch texas play? Plus case is starting. Kansas is the only win left on texas' schedule. Kansas may not even be a win.

This is how dominant the Sooners were: Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro said the OU receivers began telling him what plays were coming. "They were like, 'We're running it here,'" Vaccaro said. "That's it." espn.go.com/colleges/oklahoma...exas-longhorns

We used to lament the days when a senior class went 4 years without beating aggy or ou. Now we're looking at a junior class that in 2013 may well be able to say they went 4 years without beating Baylor.

Unfortunately, I predict Aggy over LSU. No score prediction.

Well Texas winning was my biggest fear. If he wins a few more, the anger over the OU game may subside and the fans will allow him one more year, at least.
We have to hope that ISU or Kansas beat us. We know KSU will trounce.

Some Very Offensive Statistics on the Defense
We all see how awful the defense is. We also hear Mack and Manny say idiotic things about how well they played. To keep things objective, here are some hard numbers demonstrating how horrible this defense is and how little hope we have for much further success this season.
National rankings and actual numbers for:
Scoring Defense: 105, 35 pts/game
Rushing Defense: 109, 216 yds/game
Passing Defense: 94, 256 yds/game
Total Defense: 110, 472 yds/game
Last night, Baylor was statistically better than Texas in every category except third-down conversions (and points, obviously).
The lack of accountability is what bothers me the most. Until Belmont forces someone to take responsibility for and recognize the shambles the team is now in, there seems to be little hope for improvement. That Mack thought at halftime the difference in the game would be "turnovers and the kicking game" also indicates that he has given up on the D and that we are in for a painful last few games.

To be fair, it's 49.25 ppg in conference play.

Baylor is done. I don't think we'll win again this season.

And turnovers, which is where I think they lost the game.
