Shaq for Ben Wallace and Pavlovic. Maybe the Cavs' 30th pick too.

I don't know rhat a 38 year old is ever the missing piece, but he just might be motivated enough to get a 5th ring before Kobe. Congrats

Yeah I'm not totally sold. I think we'll know after 10 games how this is going to work. It's a shame they didn't make this trade last year. That would have been the silliest team ever assembled. I'm afraid that this year they'll be super-serious.
I've no idea what happens to Illgauskas at this point. He's really not a bench guy so they might have to move him - not sure what they can get - but he's been the most loyal guy the Cavs have ever had and has been through so much. I was hoping that he would get a ring as much as I was hoping this city of Cleveland would get one.

On the other hand, maybe Z needs to stay. We all know about Shaq's FT shooting woes in the last few minutes and Z's most lucrative (only?) skill is being a big man who hits outside shots and free throws. Not your traditional 6th man who comes in and gives a boost of energy, but more like a closer.
And assuming they resign Varajao, a front line of Shaq, Varajao, and Lebron will swallow up almost every rebound.
