Rashard Lewis the first high profile guy to test positive for PEDs. He's also the guy that effectively destroyed the Cavs last year in the playoffs. Without Lewis, the Cavs win that series. But I digress.

Anyway, is this the tip of the iceberg or an isolated indecent?
We've pretty much accepted the use of PEDs in football. And we get self-righteous about it in baseball. But basketball has been unscathed by the stench of PEDs. Most things that I've read - and I tend to agree - that PEDs wouldn't really help that much in basketball (side note: they said the same thing about baseball ten years ago).

Dammit. Just read the article again. HE TESTED POSITIVE IN THE FINALS!!!!! MEANING, HE WAS ON IT DURING THE CAVS SERIES!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I think he was only the 6th guy since 1999 to be banned for PEDs in the NBA.
As an aside, I do think HGH would benefit NBA players, as it would any athlete. But there's no way anabolic steroids would help them. HGH basically helps them recover faster and is virtually undetectable. I'm SURE there's NBA guys on it.

No accusations, but....if I had to pick a player who might have something running in his system, I mean....at 18 Lebron already had a 30 year old's body, stacked. NOT saying, just saying.....

Don't worry. Deep, deep, down somewhere in the dark recesses of my psyche, lies that very concern.
Especially the way he plays the game. He always ends up on the floor and takes hard fouls more than probably anyone in the league. And he hasn't suffered a significant injury. Something's gotta give over the next five years. And if nothing appears to give - either his physical style of play, or his health - then it will be suspicious.
