Upon investigation many Big 10 people are saying it's not true, which makes sense since Pitt adds zero TVs to the conference.
Have you read that Frank the Tank article on adding Texas to the Big 10?

I don't understand at all. Why would UT want to leave the Big 12 and lose all those games against OU, Nebraska, A&M etc? They'd get OSU and Michigan in return but .... wait, did I just answer my own question?
