Traded to the Redskins. Wow. What an amazing act of hubris by Philly.

Yeah I've been irately texting Horvath. What in the world Philly was thinking with this is beyond me. Lots of anger in Dallas and NY tonight.

Tweeted by Adam Schefter: When Mike Shanahan became John Elway's head coach, Elway was 34 with rep for not winning big one. McNabb is 33 with same reputation.

Cutler cost the Bears 2 first rounders. Matt Schaub was worth two second rounders.
McNabb isn't worth Matt Schaub?

age.
i'm just waiting to hear what triggers the 2011 4th to becoming a 2011 3rd rounder to complete the deal.

Yeah because that bump from a 4th to a 3rd round pick will be the determining factor on the success of this trade. Going with Kolb may very well be the right move. Or it may backfire like no trade has ever backfired before. If the Eagles start even 0-2, or miss the playoffs, then God help that franchise.

I'm already tired of hearing about the Elway comparisons.

it scares me, too, chad while the 3/4 won't make the trade a success/failure, i'm just curious as to what is the trigger. i do, however, believe this trade doesn't have much middle-ground -- it's either gonna look great for the eagles or horrible.

Per Adam Schefter:
The 2011 conditional fourth-round pick that Washington traded to Philadelphia will go to a third-round pick if one of two conditions is met, according to league sources:
• McNabb goes to the Pro Bowl.
• McNabb plays in 70 percent of the Redskins' offensive plays and Washington wins nine games.

If either of those things happen and if Kolb and the Eagles DON'T do those things, expect the stadium to be burned to the ground.

It'll be interesting to see what he can do in Washington when he doesn't have a competent O line.
