There was an article about the upcoming NBA schedule this year and the headline was 'Big Three naming rights on the line' between the Celtics and Heat. I've already heard this several times this morning from other talking heads.
Am I missing something or is there another trio down in San Antonio that has more rings than the other six combined? You can't say the Spurs' trio are too old and then point to the Celts.

I think there's something to the way the Celtics and Miami were assembled. The Celtics and Heat were/are a mish-mash of players from other teams coming together whereas San Antonio built a dynasty the old fashioned way.
Oh, and that it's San Antonio and not Miami or Boston. (Let's just there isn't an ESPNSanAntonio.com - well, there is, but it's being squatted on by a non-ESPN entity).

Isn't it much more impressive to actually draft a championship big three?
Whatever, I don't know why I let this get to me.
