“Official” Power Rankings Week 3 – DVRFFL
After three games, Waco is the only winless team. Everyone else is bunched closely together. The bye weeks are upon us and this should start to weed out the pretenders and the real deals. A few more weeks and the playoff picture will really start to develop.
10 games left in the season. Remember: Don’t shoot the messenger.
1) grubbi grubbers 2-1 LW-1
First loss of the season but still top of the division, top in points, and top of the rankings. It is what it is.
2) Stradlebuck Lugineers 2-1 LW-8
QB Brees and WR Bolding scored a little more than half of Stradlebuck’s points. That probably means he is ranked too high but let’s give the champ the benefit of the doubt.
3) Taking My Talent to the Toilet Bowl 2-1 LW-4
TMTTTTB got the win over a floundering fish. The big worry here is that TMTTTTB’s points have been declining from week to week. Just saying....
4) Turf Toe 2-1 LW-6
Finally crashed the hundred point mark. Granted his RB was running from the Lions and we all know what that does for a player’s stats.
5) Long Beach Islanders 1-2 LW-5
LB gets the draw of playing Finkle next. Normally this would be a gimme but Finkle may be starting to come alive....that was meant as a joke. Look for mom and dad to put son in his place.
6) Trogdor’s Burninators 2-1 LW-7
The flames are getting higher... Trogdor wasted Apocalypse Now and now has grubbi in his sights. Tune in next week to see if grubbi is fire proof.
7) Apocalypse Now 2-1 LW-2
AN broke his hundred point scoring streak this week. He just looks vulnerable right now with Turf Toe and Stradlebuck nipping at his heels.
8) Humuhumunukunukuapua’as 1-2 LW-3
A great week followed by a weak week. Just when this fish was looking like a piranha, she morphs into a guppy.
9) Finkle and Einhorn’s Laces Out 1-2 LW-10
First win of the season! Hoorah!!...okay enough of that. Finkle still has a big uphill battle and his bench looks like a pee-wee league roster.
10) Waco Streaking Mandalors 0-3 LW-9
QB Vick would not have saved Waco this week but could help him in the future IF Waco starts him. Waco must be a dog lover.
