I just can't see him leaving. Makes no sense.

It's weird. I was 90/10 that he was leaving. Now I'm probably 75/25 that he's staying. Not totally sure why. Maybe it's the come-to-Akron thing. Maybe it's that he's imposed a July 5 deadline - pretty soon, IMO. Maybe it's because every FA thus far has stayed put and Bosh is the only one who looks like he'll definitely move - and methinks people are starting to realize he's more Pau Gasol than Dwight Howard.
But it's probably because I've spent the last week convincing myself that the Bulls might not be as perfect a fit as everyone else thinks.

Of course, that ratio reverses immediately as soon as I turn on ESPN and they're predictably suggesting that LeBron's already gone.

Wait, wait, wait. Bulls make their pitch AFTER the Cavs? The Bulls are going LAST?
OK, back to 90/10 leaving....

I would have loved to sat in on the Clippers meeting just to see how pathetic it was. Lasted less than an hour.

@alexkennedynba Chicago Bulls threaten to pull offer if LeBron James doesn't make decision by Saturday. "Maybe the worst bluff of all time." (Even the members of Gobias industries agreed on that one.)

So Bulls side Wade. Does Bosh take 70% max money (assuming the Bulls can't move Deng)? Does LeBron? Just saying I think in the event of Wade going to Chicago, LeBron bolting for Chicago on the heels looks kinda weak. /not_biased_at_all

Windy says there's not deadline of July 5 to make a decision.

Starting sometime tomorrow, I'm going to be on internet-silence thanks to a trip to some cabin somewhere in Colorado.
You have my permission/directive to text me when/if Amare, Wade, Bosh, Dirk and LeBron sign.

A few things I (possibly) overlooked:
1. The bad blood between Amare and Phoenix. I just assumed he would stay with Nash but I forget they've been actively trying to trade him for years. I'm sure that pissed him off.
2. The Heat's absolute incompetence since winning a championship to surround themselves Wade with quality talent. Three straight years may have angered Wade.
3. Joe Johnson's desire to get paid instead of win. Enough said.
I'm going to stand by my picks, just because I think they make the most sense. But obviously outside of Dirk I'm going to be wrong on all of them.
