I didn't realize that Wade had such strong ties to Chicago (DUH! HE GREW UP THERE!).

BTW, I hate to sound like a broken record, but... Wade AND Rose? That's sort of an odd pairing if you ask me. Both dominate the ball and are sub-par defensively (right?). Both are "drivers" and draw contact, not really shooters.

It makes more sense to pair Carmelo with Rose than it does Wade or Lebron. Carmelo has a much more developed outside game than the other two. If Chicago loses out this year, they could still be in contention next year when Melo can become a free agent. Same with Nets or Knicks.

Broussard speaks:
Strong sources tell me Chicago Bulls have definitely not given LeBron an ultimatum that he must give them an answer tomorrow.

Starting sometime tomorrow, I'm going to be on internet-silence thanks to a trip to some cabin somewhere in Colorado. You have my permission/directive to text me when/if Amare, Wade, Bosh, Dirk and LeBron sign. I'll text if something definitive happens.

Yeah, don't text me with "Source: LeBron thinking about setting a deadline." I only get like 250 texts a month.

So.... is the pendulum swinging back to "LeBron is staying in Cleveland?" Because I have a hard time keeping up with conventional wisdom.

So Joakim Noah is all of the sudden a huge big man in the league? The guy has averaged 7.9/7.9 for his career and HE'S they key to LeBron's success? A center who shoots just over 50%? THAT'S the final piece of the puzzle?
Similar offensive numbers to Varajao, and I think most people agree (and some of the +/- type stats bear it out) that AV's defense is much better.
/circling wagons.

I think it's pretty obvious Lebron is staying. You can probably start breathing again.

I think it's pretty obvious Lebron is staying. You can probably start breathing again. I think we all know that's not going to happen. Mike Miller interested in the Cavs for the md-level exception? Not bad. Can we find something for Anthony Parker to do?

Is it possible for you to set up a web cam Thursday night? I really need to watch you while watching the announcement. I don't know where the Cavs fans hang out in Austin, so I'm depending on you.

Like someone else said, I can't see him stomping on Cleveland's heart like that on national TV. Although I can't possibly imagine what will take an hour to explain. Hopefully it's not as lame as his first tweet was.
